Things to do in Denver in February
February is cold and your home is warm, but don’t get caught with cabin fever this winter! There are plenty of things to do and opportunities to get out and enjoy what the community has to offer. Here are a few options to get you out of the house this month:
- The Rocky Mountain’s oldest and largest garden and home show is this February – The Colorado Garden and Home Show! It runs for nine days, Feb 22 – March 1. There will be over 1,400 booths where you can check out exhibits, see the latest trends, products, and services in gardening and home improvement. There will also be
- The Tai Chi Society of Denver has monthly classes, “Introduction to Tai Chi for Seniors”, and the February class starts on Tuesday, Feb 4. The classes are every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the month, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Taoist Tai Chi can help seniors with balance, circulation, and flexibility in a comfortable and relaxing manner.
- Augustana Luthern Church hosts a Senior Monthly Luncheon on the third Thursday of every month, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. You can join fellow seniors for a meal, socializing, and an entertaining program on Thursday, February 20. Please call Augustana’s office to make a reservation: 303-388-4678
