Stepping Stones of Hope Event
Women with Stories of Hope
With so much happening in the world around us, who doesn’t need a little hope and encouragement from time to time? That’s what made last month’s Stepping Stones of Hope event so great. Four amazing women came together to share their stories of overcoming obstacles and finding ways to give back to their communities. The goal of the event was to offer a ray of hope to anyone struggling through unexpected life events.
Here are stories of hope from four strong and determined women:
Kim Paul of Synergy Home Care
Ms. Paul did not fall into her current role in business by accident. Like many of us working in the senior care field, her own personal experiences became the stepping stones that led her to her current role. Kim reminisced of her journey through a personal tragedy that included a story of her disabled husband. She offered practical solutions on how to find joy in the midst of painful and tragic struggles. Her inspirational story offers encouragement to others to seek their unique calling on their path to joy, no matter what challenges they face.
Kodi Marley of Pristine Home Healthcare
Mrs. Marley shared her powerful story about a near death experience that could’ve been her ultimate downfall. Kodi faced a unique set of circumstances with grace, perseverance, and deep-rooted faith. After years of rehabilitation, she was fortunate enough to walk away from a horrifying accident that almost took her precious life. Kodi ultimately traversed the challenges of life with sheer courage, overcoming the jaw-dropping odds she and her family faced throughout the years. These turbulent experiences fueled her to reach for her dreams of starting her own thriving company, Pristine Home Healthcare.
Marnie Blin of All About Seniors Inc
Over a decade ago, Marnie Biln built a nationally recognized brand from the ground up, creating a successful senior service. Of course, her journey hasn’t always been easy. She stepped out in blind faith to pursue a simple dream to serve the world’s seniors in a new and exciting way. Her entrepreneurial spirit and passion has touched countless lives. Attendees of the Stepping Stones of Hope event learned how this once single mom pushed through obstacles and fulfilled her dreams of building a thriving company serving thousands of people.
Melissa Snyder of Talem Home Care & Placements
Melissa, a courageous woman, shared her story about surviving the evils of cancer as a single mom, while facing unimaginable odds. She told a moving story of how a little faith turned into a small ray of hope and brought life back to her body, mind, and spirit. It was an honor to have Melissa share her personal testimony with the community as the Keynote Speaker during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
After each of these stories were shared there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. The most important piece to note is that they left those in attendance with hope, encouragement, and faith. Simple and straightforward, no matter what your unique and personal story is, these ladies want you to remember that a common thread of HOPE, unites us all together!
